Sea Kayaking Kas – Kalkan Tours

Overview

Sea kayaking is the best way to get up close to the 3,000-year-old ruins of the sunken city. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Kekova region, one of the most beautiful spots on the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, you will receive a full briefing about the day’s route, the kayak, and its equipment from your guide. Then, we will start paddling from Üçağız Village to Tersane (Shipyard) Bay, with a swimming break at Tersane Bay and a great chance to view the ruins and sunken city while receiving information from your guide. Next, we will paddle to Kale Köy (Simena), where we will have a lunch break, time to rest, and an opportunity to explore the charming village. Finally, we will paddle back from Kale Köy (Simena) to Üçağız Village (Teimusa) and drive back to Kaş and Kalkan.

Tour Details

• Meeting Time & Place: Pick-up from hotel or meet at our office at 08:00 AM
• Route: Drive to Üçağız Village → Paddle to Shipyard Bay (45 minutes) → Swimming break at Shipyard Bay (40 minutes) → Paddle over the sunken city with a guided explanation → Cross to Simena for a 1-hour break → Paddle back to Üçağız Village → Lunch → Drive back to Kaş and Kalkan
• Return Time: Arrive back in Kaş and Kalkan at approximately 3:00 PM
